Lay your block pieces out next to your sewing machine.
Assemble all the small triangles into squares 1st. Pin them...don't sew without it. Press open and trim the tags off. Lay them back in place...careful to get them in the right direction.
Next, sew the two small squares together that are on the sides of the larger square.
Sew these two assembled small squares onto the large square.
Sew the three small squares together that are on the tops and bottoms of the block.
