Bottom picture first.
When you get the two ends whipped together then turn and start heading down the third edge of the quilt tacking the binding to the quilt with the back whip stitch.
When you get to the end make sure you go up to the corner whipping the binding edges together.
Repeat the fourth side of the quilt the same way.
Then stand back and enjoy the fruit of your labors!
And
send me a picture or bring the real finished product to me so I can see it.
Start in the very corner and whip together the two sides of the binding coming down the edge. Catch both sides of the binding...front and back...in your needle with each stitch.
You should stay close to the edge of the fabrics.
Go in about 1/16 of an inch.
This picture shows my thread coming out in the corner where I want to start whipping the binding together on the end.
The knot is hidden inside the layers of the quilt.
