This is not pinned correctly...The green fabric should be evenly on top of the fabric piece under it. If I sew it together like this I will not have a true square when I get done.
This is also not pinned correctly. Make sure you line up your pieces, not just on the edge you are sewing, but the entire piece.
If you don't line things up well, you will be picking them out later or unhappy with your finished project.
